I actually found a blackout curtain that completely keeps all light out. The item arrived with a measuring tape in case the shade is too big. In our case it was but the item was easy to trim. The item was wrinkled when installed but easily became straight once steamed or ironed.

Interesting concept. I feel like this type of shade works well where you have limited space. Where there really isn't room for a traditional roller shade this provides an excellent alternative. It absolutely blocks the light creating a really dark space. They provide the materials needed to measure, and ashere the shade. I used regular scissors to cut. I used a straight edge to draw a line to cut the shade to fit. So measure twice, cut once. :)
