Cooking InstructionsIn a medium saucepan, bring 1 3/4 cup water and 1 cup rice to boil.Cover with a tight-fitting lid. Reduce heat to maintain a low simmer, and cook for 30-35 minutes.Remove from heat (keep covered) and steam for 10 minutes. Fluff with fork and serve. If rice is too firm at the end of cooking, it may be necessary to add 1-2 Tbsp. liquid and cook longer. Rice cooker instructions: To prepare in a rice cooker, use the same liquid to rice ratio. We recommend refrigeration for extended shelf life.

Re-closable. Press to close. **Stovetop - From Ambient **This product is raw, it must be cooked in order to enjoy its delicious flavor. **1. Using a fine mesh sieve, thoroughly rinse 1 cup of rice under cold water for 1-2 minutes and drain. **2. Combine rice, 1 cup water or broth, and 1 tbsp. butter or oil (optional) in a 2 qt. saucepan and bring to a boil. **3. Cover with a tight-fitting lid. Reduce heat to maintain a low simmer and cook for 35 minutes. **4. With lid on, remove from heat and let steam for 10 minutes. Fluff with fork and enjoy. **Tip: If rice is too firm at the end of cooking, add 1-2 tbsp. Liquid and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes. **Makes 2-4 servings. **Other - From Ambient **Rice Cooker: To prepare in a rice cooker, use the same rice to liquid ratio as stovetop instructions.
