I felt pretty confident when install day came due to all the reviews of videos I watched lol! But when I opened the box, things went weird real quick. Nothing synced with all the materials I reviewed. Clicking on various links and QR codes yielded no help. I reached out to RT and the guy I spoke to was a little baffled, but was able to determine it was the latest revision and there hadn't been any tutorials made on them yet. Fortunately, there was a PDF document that I used to perform the install and RT was able to email it to me. Product works great! I like the hold feature and the LED step lights. Be ready to spend a couple of hours at minimum for the install if you're at DIY'er and working on the ground lol!

I had these AMP Research steps professionally installed on my new 2026 Tundra Hybrid 1794, and they've exceeded my expectations. I was initially worried I'd need a manual override switch like the one shown in the owner's manual, but that wasn't the case at all—they integrated seamlessly with the truck. The battery location under the driver-side rear seat actually made the install straightforward. The steps deploy smoothly every time, tuck up clean when not in use, and look right at home on the truck. Solid build, clean install, and they work exactly as they should.
