The "velour" is not like thick velour, but more of a soft mock velour which I think she'll really like because it isn't heavy%26 won't be hot. The top is semi cropped but will cover. I was concerned that the pants were too short--they were "high waters" on the model wearing them--but they were fine when I put them on, and I have medium to long legs.
