This is very sturdy and strong. Well made. Yet easy enough for me to handle. It's exactly what I was looking for!

Stainless Steel That Will Last

This Lotech Aerator is much more substantial than I thought. It is all stainless steel except for the handle parts covered by plastic. My old aerator was aluminum or galvanized metal that is failing after just two seasons. I don't see this one doing that. When you crank it in it really digs down into the compost. Make sure you don't go too far because pulling it up will be difficult. Just take it down a little at first then take deeper bites as the compost is turned.

Compact Crank

Love the Compost Crank. It's easy to use and very effective for aerating my compost. Much better for me than my shovel. Quickly gets down to the bottom of the pile so I can lift and turn my compost.
