My eye doctor recommended that I use this, warmed, for about 10 minutes in the a.m. and p.m., to help relieve dry eye symptoms. He said it might help the eye to create its own natural lubrication. I only use it in the evening, as I drift off to sleep and it has definitely helped. I do not use the band around the back of my head. I just lay the mask on my eyes. I heat it for three 10 second intervals. This may vary depending on the microwave.
