Bought this for my cat thinking she'd turn into a tiny aquatic goddess… She smacked it twice, gave me a dirty look, and left. 10/10 entertainment for ME, 4/10 for her. The mat itself is sturdy, doesn't leak, and the little floating shapes move around in a cute way. If your cat is the type to stick their paw in your drink, they'll probably love this. If your cat is a diva like mine? Consider this a $10 donation to their royal boredom fund. 😂🐾

Made of sturdy plastic unfortunately it will not lay flat because its been folded for a while. You have to blow up the outer ring which has a hard to close nozzle. The inner ring has to be filled with purified water to slow bacterial growth and unfortunately the four floating pieces are a thin piece of foam like material. All of the middle ring is an accident waiting to spill water on your floor. The plug is large but with a cat bouncing on it is likely to open. I've seen other brands that did not use water and hoped that would be the case here.
