This toddler bed ROCKS! But first things first, ALL safety standards are met. If you don't want to read them for yourself, just know that they cover all of the ways a child could be trapped or be “caught” by anything sticking out. (That's why the arched metal and curved corners matter.) Now to the fun stuff...the pros are plentiful. The design is sleek and simple. This bed can be decorated for either girls or boys. I chose the gray color, the new neutral. The thing I love about the simplicity of the design is because toddlers live by Toddler Rules. Today it might be princesses and tomorrow, trolls. If you choose the castle, the race car, the space ship...all good until it's not. Hard to disguise the other beds as anything else. Changing the decor for a toddler is as easy as changing bedding and curtains. More pros: It took 30 minutes to put together. The assembly directions were the best I've ever seen. There were only 6 main pieces. All of the components fit exactly where they were supposed to. It holds up to 50 pounds. The metal is strong and high quality, not like some that bend in if an enthusiastic toddler leaps into bed at night. There are 2 side rails. Any crib mattress will fit. They have multiple choices for matching furniture. Cons: it takes 2 adults to put it together. It's a bit pricier than some other toddler beds.
