I needed something cheap and big enough that I could put my daughter's cake in for her birthday. It worked great! I made some home made gel ice packs to go inside and worked like a champ. When I opened up the cooler you could feel the cold air right away. On durability I did 4 stars due to the fact of it is thick Styrofoam. I'm hoping that I can keep it for next year for the same reason!

I bought two of these coolers. I am using one to make an off grid "Air Conditioner", see you tube. They are 1 1/2" thick. The lid is hinged and fits snug when closed. I used a 2 liter coke bottle filled with water and frozen, checked it 20 hours later. It was still 1/2 frozen. I am very happy with the coolers.
