To start, the spacer on the upper right corner of that screen protector is intentionally placed in order to accommodate the proximity sensor and ambient light sensor that are underneath the active display pixels. It is designed to reduce the gap between the device and the screen shield to enhance overall device functionality. <br /><br />For the ultrasonic fingerprint adapters, we recommend registering your fingerprint on the bare device and ensuring that the screen will unlock consistently before applying the stickers. Regardless, we apologize that your tabs were having trouble. Understanding your frustration towards the shipping and handling fee associated with our warranty program, we would only point out that our primary goal is to make sure that your device will be well protected going forward. Although we are more than happy to take on the responsibility of the replacement case itself, we do feel that the cost associated with getting it to you is a modest investment to help maintain the security of your phone for the long haul.<br /><br />Finally, the coin slot was moved to the top of the case in order to reduce potential damage to the charge port door during case installation.
