I bought this Levoit unit for my bedroom. I am very happy with it, and I use it all the time without fail! I've vacuumed off the filter and that worked well and it continues to work. The control buttons on top are simple to use, and if you're running it on the medium setting, it's barely audible. The higher setting is more of a White Noise sound. With these air filters in our mud room and dining room I only have to dust once a week and it's not a thick layer anymore! After 3 weeks, The one filter got very full and I was able to tap it out and continue to use . Sounds like a quiet fan when on high. Would buy again
