Not as quiet as

It is it as quiet as my previous dryer and it seems like it is not as good quality. The buttons are hard to turn and the door is harder to open and close. The hardware in the back cause it to stick out further and almost did not fit in the space allotted. It also seems like it takes longer for clothes to dry.

Dryer is unplesantly loud

This dryer is rxtremely loud for some reason! Its a brand new dryer that came with my townhouse unit. Everytime i do laundry it wakes my kids out of their sleep. Maybe something needs to be adjusted with it?! Im not sure but it shouldnt sound like loose change rattled everytime i dry something?

We'd like to assist with your new dryer's sound level. It's extremely important to make sure your dryer is leveled on a solid secure floor ,and that nothing is leaning against it. You can click here for instructions on leveling your dryer: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=17925 If this doesn't help, we recommend checking all exposed screws and make sure they are tight. Loose cabinet screws can increase the sound level. Not happy

It's like a piece of junk and process night. I have to slam door hard and sometimes a few times to close .. Washing machine is also cheap, I put in a mattress cover and it was still soaked and wet after the spin. I am very disappointed in GE…never again
