Surprisingly good for 5 bucks!

I was expecting this compass to be completely useless for $5. It actually worked very well. There is a park in my city with a pathway that is exactly true north. My declination is 13 deg west. The compass pointed exactly 13 deg west when I stood on the path pointing the compass to true north. This will work just fine for my purposes.

Worth more than what I paid for it!

Excellent compass!!! Works great with an easy-to-move dial! On spot with reading. The only complaint that I have is that when it is fully closed, it'a a little hard to open, but I'm sure that will improve with use.
