The package comes with only 2 of these instead of 3. On top of that they are hard to use - don't go on the finger where it does any good at not getting poked by the needle. Wish I hadn't bought them.

Don''t waste your money

I was a little skeptical about trying these but I've been desperate to find a good thimble because of my arthritic knuckles. There was no indication on the package about how to use them so I thought they would fit around the top of the finger like a ring. Nope, they were too big for that and slid down. Then I thought perhaps you were supposed to size them yourself since they're just tied with a small plastic string. That didn't work either so I tossed them in a drawer. I see now that the description says to wear it on your finger between the first and second knuckle. Unless you have an issue with your hands and have to push your needle from the middle of your finger, these thimbles are useless. I kept searching and finally did find a thimble that works for me and I love it. The Dritz Soft Comfort Thimble is the only one I've found that fits snugly around the top of my finger without falling off but stretches around my knuckle without hurting me. It's the green one.
