Good Quality Luggage Expandable Rack

Sturdy and not too heavy. One person can lift and place this on your roof rails. The mounting brackets are easy to use but I had to improvise to make them hold the rack securely to my luggage rails. The instructions had you installing their u-bolts upwards. This would have cause the bolts to protrude up and possibly rip into my luggage bag or anything else up there. I installed the u-bolts facing down but then they could not be tightened enough. I inserted a flexible spacer made from collapsible pool drain hose wrapped around the bracket. That allowed the u-bolt to now be sufficiently tightened so that the luggage rack did move at all.
