The tire promotes excellent summer weather traction. The asymmetric ribbed tread design and the durable summer compound work together to boost the dry and wet weather traction. The tread upgrades the grip on the road surface with the better surface contact, while the durable compound improves the rubber flexibility in high-heat temperatures and performing situations. In other words, the tire keeps the surface contact and prevents heat build-up to improve the summer traction. The optimized groove pattern, with the circumferential and angled lateral grooves, prevents hydroplaning by channeling water from below the footprint. This guarantees a safer summer weather performance.

The tread design also helps improve the model's controllability. The optimized tire footprint maintains the model's surface contact throughout the drive, while the tread's tie-bars stabilize the elements.
