2" Blade Not Included
The plate joiner is fine. However, the information on this web page is incorrect. I recently purchased this product because the description indicated that both the 2" and 4" blades were included. The following description was copied directly from the web page: Porter Cable 557 Deluxe Plate Joiner Kit: - 1" outside diameter dust port accepts standard bag or can be connected to a vacuum - Fence tilts from 1 degrees to 135 degrees with positive adjustable stop at 90 degrees - Precise micro height-adjustment knob - Lock-on trigger - Includes both 2" and 4" diameter blades for standard and face-frame biscuits - Height scale accurate at any angle The fifth bullet clearly states the 2" blade is included. When I received the kit, the 2" blade was not included in the kit. I called CPO and the sales rep said that it is not included regardless of the information provided on their web page. I returned the product. Do not buy from this web page if you expect to get the 2" blade.
