When I had this as a kid it had like 10 or 15 meatballs per can, my can had 3.5 meatballs. I doctored it up adding some frozen meatballs, onions, pepper and extra cheese along with extra black pepper. By the time I was done it tasted incredible. I like the portion control of a single can because pasta makes my blood sugar jump sky high so this limits the amount of pasta I eat because if I make it from scratch I make a huge pan. I'm old and have arthritis so this is easy to cook and it's filling.

Nothing could be simpler. You don't even need a can opener. Technically, you're supposed to heat it up, but I've been eating this right out of the can forever %26 if something goes wrong at the factory the pop-top is going to burst open, I had a can of soup do that once, it made a mess in my pantry, but left no doubt about the soup. Sure, it's not exactly gourmet, but it sure hits the spot when you don't want to take the time to cook something. No artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. 410 calories. 49g carbs. 24g protein. 17g fat. Not health food, but a satisfying snack. I'm also very glad that they rolled the price back to $1 since $1.18 was an 18% price hike.
