Directions:Add 2 level teaspoons (6g) of base mix to 1 cup (8 fl. oz.) of boiling water (212°F). Mix well.Soup: Add cooked pasta, rice, barley, vegetables and meat to prepared broth for a complete homemade soup.Flavor: Use prepared broth to season rice, pasta, vegetables, potatoes and stuffing.Seasoning: Use as a seasoning straight from the jar to add flavor to basting drippings, casseroles, vegetables and gravies. Heat to 200°F before serving.

Tried for first time (because what I normally use, is now, ridiculously expensive). Tastes similar to old-school, foil wrapped cubes. Someone mentioned that it's clumps in the container. That's because of the Maltrodextrin (Corn fiber). Body builders and skinny people add Corn fiber to food and water, to gain weight. Fine for home made chicken soup. 5 stars for the convenience, quantity and price. Just know that it's basically Chicken Flavored Salt. Use accordingly. First ingredient is Salt. I'd buy it again.

Budget Friendly Bouillon Powder
It's easy to use and it's inexpensive. For a small container, you get a lot out of it. Like any bouillon powder concentrate, it is salty, so keep that in mind when using other seasonings or flavoring mixes with this product. It does provide a great base for a pot of homemade chicken soup. The price is excellent and I buy at least two at a time just to keep it on hand.

This has been the best chicken base I've found! My husband has chronic pancreatitis and finding things he can handle has been difficult but this product has made a broth that he can drink even during his most severe attacks! I highly recommend this product and it has the BEST flavor for a powdered base!
