Chef Boyardee Cheese Pizza Maker, Crust Mix and Pizza Sauce Meal Kit, 31.85 oz.

I've been eating Chef Boyardee products since I was a child. The pizza mix is one of my favorites. As my kids were growing up, we would have family pizza night once a week and I would fix the dough up. Make each get small pan with their own dough in it and let them fix it the way they want to put the toppings on it then instead of them fighting over the sauce that was left in the bottom of the can, because all of us wanted to eat the leftover sauce that was still in the can, even if it wasn't even a teaspoon full, we just stood together in the kitchen each of us with a spoon and passed it along until the can was empty. A fantastic memory I have with my kids that are grown and moved away, and I rarely see now because they live so far away from me. Now, I've introduced my senior citizen neighbors to Chef Boyardee pizza and when I fix it, they all get to enjoy it too. On this review here, they asked about the cheese, but Chef Boyardee doesn't put the cheese in there anymore. For people that don't like chunky spaghetti sauce and chunky marinara sauce, try buying their pizza sauce separate from the kit and using that for spaghetti and marinara sauce. That's what I do and it's great. By the way when I get done making my pizza I still stay in the kitchen and get my spoon out and eat what's left out of the can.

Make sure you purchase your toppings and get regular shredded whole milk mozzarella and not fancy shredded mozzarella. Sauce is mild so add hot sauce or chili powder if you prefer spicy pizza sauce. Enjoy. We usually get a 8-10 inch thin crust and a 5-7 inch thick crust pizza from each box and plenty of sauce.
