[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had this tape measure on a job that i was doing for a friend's parents and had a couple guys helping me we were remodeling a room upstairs and adding a room in the basement that was dark and had minimal lighting this tape measure worked great in the low lighting area worked didn't need a flashlight or my cell phone light to get quick measurements for materials before setting up some temporary lighting. I also like the how far the standout was over 12 ft and being able to take measurements with either side of tape measure is not something you use all the time but is a nice feature when you do need it. The LED feature has also come in handy stopping on the way home to give an estimate on a deck right before the sunset and taking a few of the measurements in the dark had no problem reading the measurement. Overall great tape measure and working with the guys I've had to keep it on me because my guys like it also because of the features and I'm always having to get it back from one of them. Great product for anyone doing work in low lighting area's or finishing a few more cuts when it gets dark.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The DEWALT 25' LED rechargeable lighted tape measure (DWHT35625) has a powerful built-in LED light to illuminate the blade and measuring area in low-light conditions. It has a 17' Max Reach, based on max tape extension of an average end-user. The tape measure has a reinforced housing to withstand a 100' drop onto packed soil. The LED has an auto-shutoff feature, which occurs after 60 seconds of continuous illumination. This auto-shutoff feature allows you to continue working without having to stop and turn off the LED after each use. The LED tape measure includes a sturdy metal belt-clip and has an overall size of approximately 3.5 inches wide by 3.5 inches tall by 2.25 inches thick. The approximate total weight is 1 pound, 5 ounces. The tape measure includes a 6” Rip-Shield coating, which maximizes blade life by helping to reduce breakage at the hook. Battery and Charger cable: The tool has an internal rechargeable battery and comes with a 5.25” USB type A to USB micro charger cable. The battery is rated for 3 hours of continuous runtime, when fully charged. Warranty: The tool is covered by a limited lifetime and (1) year electronics warranty. Uses and Feedback: The tape measure is comfortable to handle, and I had no problems with tape rewinding or binding after use. The tape lock switch is quite firm and reliably holds the tape without any slippage. The tape measure stays put on either a standard pants belt or when clipped onto a tool pouch. The tape hook is sturdy and securely fastened with 3 metal rivets. I especially appreciated the large double-sided print on the tape with measurements by the 1/16th. The double-sided tape allows for easier measurement actions when working overhead on framing, plumbing, HVAC, or general construction projects. The tape has red highlights every 16 inches for marking studs as well as the black diamond markers found on most common tape measures. I recommend this tool for both personal DIY and professional usage.
