Shoul have bought one sooner.

*HIGHLY RECOMMENDED* This is a good value for the money, and a good investment if you do any significant amount of laptop computing/typing. I have had the computer desk for just over a week now, and am well satisfied with it. I do most of my computer work in a reclined recliner, and the bead filled “cushions” are a real plus. I have a medium size laptop [Acer 5552 from WalMart] and can scoot it over to one side making the other side a nice mouse surface. If you recline back when using the computer, a good investment will be a 16 inch or so bungee cord to keep the computer from slipping when you tilt the lap desk. One improvement would be to put several shallow notches in the lip of the desk 3 or 4 inches from the top to keep the bungee from slipping around the curve. Not sure what you would use the zipper pockets underneath for, but these seem well constructed.

Just what I wanted!

I had purchased a 'student' lap desk elsewhere and within two days it was cracked and in two months it was cracked in 3 places and was very unstable. I spend a LOT of time on my laptop in my recliner as I am disabled and have to work from that position for comfort. This LapGear Deluxe Computer LapDesk is just what I wanted AND my laptop and wireless mouse BOTH fit well on it. It has a built in mouse pad on both sides for Rightys or Leftys. The pouches underneath hold pens and pencils on one side and the other holds gum etc. Would definitely recommend this to anyone needing a lapdesk. At times I just use it as a desk to work on papers also. Good firm surface to write on and the wrist rest helps keep laptop in place and eliminate my carpal tunnel problem.

Perfect fit

Bought this lap desk so I am able to sit on the couch and work on my computer all day. I have to keep my feet propped up to keep them from swelling, so needed something for my computer. It is the perfect fit for my lap. Love the amount of room for my computer and for my external mouse. Also love the wrist rest. Did not have that on my last lap desk that I gave to my son who was needing one. The wrist rest is an added bonus and really does give the added support. My wrist and arm does not get so tired now that I have something to rest it on. Has worked out perfectly, wish I had not waited so long to get this one.
