This Lands’ End Women’s 600 Down Winter Long Coat with Hood may seem standard but trust us this is an essential coat. For one thing it’s lightweight not heavy but still delivers a substantial punch of warmth. Made with a 100% nylon exterior shell and a 600 Down HYPERDry interior it’s guaranteed to keep you dry and warm in the low lower LOWEST temperatures you care to function in this winter. With a removable hood for added protection a button front storm flap inner rib knit cuffs and a mid thigh length you’ll be more than ready to weather any storm this season. Heavier than our packable coats it’s still light enough to take on trips pack in a suitcase or throw in the back of your car on vacation. Variety of colors and styles available. Lands’ End coats are sized for layering so order according to your true size fit. The removable hooded feature gives you the option for added protection against the elements on super cold snowy and windy days; Hood is equipped with a cinch cord and cordlock adjustment on the outer back of the head (like our warmest squall coat) so you can wear it just how you like it; Storm flap is button not a velcro pull to block out wind while open sleeve with additional inner rib knit cuff keeps arms protected from wet snow. Lands' End designs all-weather coats to last a lifetime. Quality that can fit every body.

Super warm and stylish
I got this with a huge discount during a sale. I thought I was going to need an XS based on the sizing chart, but there were none left, so I took a chance and bought S. The coat isn't too big at all- roomy enough to wear with a sweater, but not shapeless and still close enough to the body. It is super warm - I wore it for the first time in 16 degree weather and was warm the whole time. The coat is a very nice quality and both the material and fur trim look very nice. Highly recommend.

True to size winter coat
Just received my coat. I love that is true to size with room around waist stomach chest area for extra layering if you need. It is heavy enough to keep you protected in cold winter weather and will take some room if you pack it. The only thing about it is the sleeve lenght, it is not short but, "almost there". Love how easy it can change to a "jacket" look if you remove the hoodie part. Other plus is the lenght.
