Grab and Go Lunches

Love having these on hand. We've been keeping these meals around for our baby/toddler for almost 2 years. We usually send her to daycare with homemade meals, but sometimes life gets busy or there aren't any leftovers, and that's when we grab this from the pantry. This one goes when she's not wearing white, I've noticed the yellow stains white, but hasn't been an issue on any other color. Love that it has a protein, carb, and veggie for the little one. Super easy for the daycare to heat up - instructions are right there. We usually always have a dairy snack and fresh fruit prepped, so we throw them all together in her lunch bag for a complete meal. Do check the expiration dates - our store isn't good about taking expired ones off the shelf, so I check each one and make sure whatever I grab is good for at least another 3 months since we personally don't go through them very fast.

Amazing but side vegetables are disappointing

This is a very tasty meal and has a wonderful thick and chunky texture. The only thing I don't like are the side vegetables because they are in their own section of the bowl and they are mostly just water which is very disappointing as there are hardly ANY vegetables at all. I don't really understand why they are like this. It would be a much better meal if the vegetables were incorporated into the main part of the food. Several of GERBER'S meals are like this design and it would be so much better to have the vegetables already incorporated into the main food section rather than in a side bowl (which is mostly full of water with hardly any vegetables at all). These meals are not cheap so I feel with the current design a lot of what I am paying for is the water. Also, it would be great if GERBER added additional meal varieties, there are so many possibilities!
