The inside of the pan has a heavy duty bumpy type coating... unlike the scratchable Teflon coating of the older No-stick pans. First time I cooked pork chops and they browned up, much like an outdoor grill. LOVE IT and anxious to now do a Fried Chicken! Highly Recommend!

Read the instructions on cleaning it and cooking with it. It's a low heat pan. It dissipates so fast. No need to put it on high never put it up more than medium. It is a nonstick pan, but you have to put just a little bit of oil in there, cleanup was easy highly recommended.

the minute you unpack these beautiful pans you know that you have quality cookware. I bought a set of three from Amazon but when these popped up on Walmart and I saved a bunch of money I decided I'd return my Amazon order. when I pick up the box which I had not open from Amazon it was so much lighter then the three pans that I got from Walmart. you have to screw your own handles on but that's absolutely not a problem the curve and the designer beautiful the pans are beautiful what can I say I can't wait to get cooking. and an added bonus is that the sides than normal fry pans which I think is amazing and makes them more versatile. I've been wanting new pans for years and I am so glad that I patiently waited.
