Mouth-freshening floss

I received the Listerine Cool Mint floss from Home Tester Club. I used the floss for a week and feel the floss itself is easy to use and keeps intact while you are using it. The string does not come apart in between your teeth or get stuck while flossing. The cool mint flavor is very strong, it definitely freshens your mouth. I felt as though I used mouthwash after using it. It did almost sting my mouth a bit just like mouthwash does and that was the only negative effect of it. Other than that I felt it was easy to use, held up and freshened my mouth and even my breath.

Not Woven

My wife is a dental hygienist and I am a dentist. We are unable to find the multi-strand woven floss that previously was Reach, and then Listerine floss. The Listerine floss is now single strand, waxed thread. It is OK, but in our opinion it is not as efficient in removing plaque from between teeth as the previous multi-strand, woven floss. We miss it!

What happened to the woven floss???

I loved the Listerine woven floss (previously Reach). I began using it a few years ago after my dental hygienist accused me of not flossing daily. I was using waxed floss and she said it wasn't nearly as effective as the woven floss. I switched right away and was surprised to discover I now had a "favorite floss." I was disappointed that my usual online source was out of stock beginning a few months ago but we still had a large supply on hand so I didn't worry about it too much. Now we're about to run out and I still can't find it anywhere. I did buy a pack of the Cool Mint Listerine floss at the grocery store to see if it would be an acceptable substitute. It doesn't leave my mouth feeling as clean as the woven floss. I'll explore other brands rather than buying it again. Please bring back the woven floss!
