Bang for your buck

Have to ditto most of what others have said.At this price point you can't expect much. You're basically paying about $5 for each measuring tape. These are definitely worth $5 or more each.The locking mechanisms work as intended, the numbers are easy to read, and they have a nice sturdy heft to them. There's only one drawback - the beginning of the tape has a lip that extends in both directions which means whatever you're measuring needs to have an edge in order for the tape to go flat. For example, if you're measuring a space in the middle of the floor and you're nowhere near an edge this might be a problem. However, at this price point just use a different measuring tape. I own several and these are is actually the only ones I own that are double sided. In other words, it's not a deal breaker at all.If you're looking for an inexpensive measuring tape and need it to be double sided I'd recommend this set without hesitation.

Nice tool!

I love this tape measurer! It's just as good as other commercial tapes I've bought in the past 50 or so years! Unlike some other reviews here I find this a good product! What I love is how clear it's marked and how easy the increments are marked which I've never seen gefore! Each increment individually marked which is nice for people like me that don't use them on a daily basis! Feels pretty stout to me, like you've got something well built in your hand! What was nice was the 2 for 1 deal. Have one to my wife so she didn't have to borrow mine!
