Lego Power Functions

After buying Lego set 8053 I decided to buy Lego Power Functions. I did this as it was recommended in the back of the instruction booklet. As there are simple instructions and Lego site videos showing how to use the Power Functions and simple instructions from set 8053 it was easy to install them into the set. I believe that the price for the set was fair and was not a rip off. I highly recommend this set to any Technic fan or advanced Lego builder. I have also purchased add ons that are able to connect to the power functions I have. Check out my other reviews for more information on different power functions.

This set is awesome!

i just got this set today and i love it it is AWESOME! the motor goes super fast,the lights are bright and the switch adds so much more opportunity like you can make the motor run forward, backward and stop you can also put an axle piece on the switch instead of reaching to the battery pack.

Power is a Wonderful Thing

I feel this was a good value ("Playability" vs Price) The addition of powered takes things to the next level of creativity. My son instantly started to figure out how to adapt his current vehicles to powered drive. He had to think outside the box (which he does well anyway) instead of just following the directions and getting the same 'cookie cutter' results (which he also enjoys) This may also resurrect some of the vehicles ($$) that have been built once or twice and now sit on a shelf or (worse) in their box.
