This is a very rich, flavorful soup base. My mom's chicken rice soup is just not the same if I use a different chicken stock/flavor product. Don't waste your soup efforts with a different soup base-I've tried others. When I am asked for our family recipe I give this soup base as a gift with the recipe because it is imperative for the perfect flavor.
