I bought this bag for my son to replace his ratty old one. It's very slightly larger than his old one, but it is a smaller size that he, and some people, may like. It does have a self-contained shoe compartment, a "wet" compartment inside the main bag that seems sturdy and waterproof. My son likes having smaller pockets to stash things that can get lost, and this bag has several inside and outside, some open, some zippered. It also has a mesh pocket on one end, handy for drink bottles. The bag has 2 sturdy handles and a completely removable shoulder strap. All for a reasonable price AND a choice of colors! At this point, he's just started using the bag, so if durability becomes an issue, I'll update this review.
