Krafty Supply's Birch wooden letters are lasered cut from 1/4" Thick Birch wood. Our Birch is 5.2mm in actual thickness and has a wood grade of A/4. The letter A represents an almost blemish free face and the number 4 represents an economy grade back which will include some blemishes. Our Birch is lightweight, easily painted or stained! We take great care to make sure there are minimum burn marks from our laser and do quality checks before packing and shipping your order to you. Some laser residue my reside, but can be sanded off or easily painted over. Laser machines leave a dark, smooth edge that are easily painted over or left raw.
