Kouboo Wicker Dome Pendant Lamp, Pendant Lighting For Kitchen Island, Bedroom, Dining Room, Living Room, Entryway, Rustic Brown

We renovated our kitchen recently with white marble, white cupboards and tones of gray and watery green. We searched high and low for pendulum lights to hang over our island that would coordinate with the casual New England beach house theme. These were perfect. Airy, not too big, perfect neutral tone, casts a nice soft broad light without glare (these are island lights so just above eye level when standing), well constructed. The only reason I gave a 4 star rating was because the ceiling plate is made of a cheap chrome and so we ended up painting it white to match the ceiling. This was not shown on the website. It baffles me why manufacturers make a great product but skimp on a an obvious detail like this. It would cost pennies to upgrade that ceiling plate a bit.
