Great until it wasn't

Had the previous version of this set installed ~8 years ago. The pushbutton diverter is now stuck due to age and corrosion. Now there's no way to "unpush" it. Replacement trim isn't compatible with the valve, so we have to replace everything. A real pain. NOT elegant.

We do recommend cleaning/soaking the button area in a 50/50 solution of warm water and straight white vinegar to help remove the corrosion and corrosion that has built up. Horrible quality.

Installed the Purist shower system in new bathroom. First off, the handheld interior parts are all plastic It also has a severely restricted waterflow even though the unit states it's a 2.5 gpm. Secondly, the shower and diverter handles are very loose and wobbly. Not expected given the high price point and Kohler's penchant for quality products. I have used Kohler shower systems in other bathrooms and have not encountered the poor quality of the Purist line.
