Kohler 875-96 60 x 32 in. Bellwether Alcove Left Bath Drain - Biscuit

This was my very first purchase of a Kohler product. I was so insistent getting a high-quality cast iron tub in a beautiful, simple design to replace the old, cracked tub we were removing from our bathroom. This was more expensive than other models, but I wanted a sleek and elegant look, one this tub should impart. However immediately upon entering the bathroom after the install, I noticed multiple large, obviously depressed areas in the finish of the tub apron. This is not standard orange peel or "bumpy" texture, but rather standalone swaths of imperfection that, to me, ruin the look of this expensive product, and illustrate serious issues with Kohler's QA process. We very unfortunately saw these blatant imperfections too late. But even if we had known this prior to the install it would have been a truly painful return process to try and exchange such a heavy and cumbersome product in the hopes that the next one would be better. Due to Kohler's obvious lack of appropriate QA, even for such a large, expensive product, I do not feel I can trust Kohler as a company and will not be purchasing their products in the future.

Disappointed to find the “Kohler” text is not centered over the overflow, seems like an easy thing to get right.
