Not Compatible with an old toilet

I bought this thinking the toilet would work like my other Kohler toilets and save water. It turns out it is not compatible with my old Kohler toilet. When it flushes, it does not allow the toilet bowl to vacate any water without holding down the flush lever for at least 15 seconds. I guess that is what I get for trusting some of the reviews I read. My mistake but be warned.
