Nicolaus Copernicus wouldn't be able to install this correctly
Not sure if bad plumbers (2 companies, 5 of them), bad builders (lookin at you Toll Brothers) or bad design (why Mr. Kohl, not like this)... the spec saying a measurement/range should probably be a factual, effective, accurate tolerance for the device; just thinking out loud, musing if you well, exploring the logical space for the product and task at hand, if you will. If the copper coming off wall is off by less than 1/8th of an inch, this will leak (I was thinking 2 weeks into my new home I really wanted to replace and patch the drywall above my kitchen). "when the light hits it -- Jackson Pollock subtle spackle" jobs is really what you want to gaze on in the distance after a good meal, nice bottle of Chianti and some fava beans! Unless you have: legendary plumbers i.e. one of or perhaps both if you are lucky, [you have a problem that needs solving and know where to find them] Mario and/or Luigi themselves (perhaps the whole mushroom kingdom helping them), the entire This Old House crew, Norm or Bob Villa in the flesh......... don't try this product at home"

Major Headache
Very nice looking piece but curious to know if anyone has been able to successfully install this? The plumber has been here multiple times but water continues to leak behind the wall and into the basement. The spout itself works, but if water splashes onto the wall it will go straight into the basement. Something isn't right with it
