Terrible Finish

This bar does not match the other items in the shower system if you order the matte black. The bar is splotchy and changes color when you touch it. Customer service said it is due to the design...

Hi Smlykylie, this is Sarah with Kohler Co. I'm sorry to hear your slide bar finish appears to be showing marks when touched. Fingerprints may show on a faucet when grease is left on the finish from production, installation, or during ordinary use. It may appear as an almost invisible film on the finish. We suggest using a mild cleaning agent, which conforms with the faucet warranty guidelines, to clean the faucet and remove any grease on the faucet.
