I am so glad I bought this rug. Some of the reviews talked about a smell or how thin it was. As far as outdoor rugs go, this is more like carpet and I recognize that “new carpet smell” even. The smell will soon dissipate just like carpet does in the home. It's the best outdoor rug I have ever bought and plan to buy more.
