Finish on both the metal and wood were just so-so. Was pricey for what it is but sturdy and will be good for intended use. Delivery was made on Sunday days before projected. Big heavy box left leaning against bottom of short flight of stairs to front covered porch. I'm a senior with arthritis who was alone when the 86 pound box left outside just before a rainstorm. Without a lot of detail, it was a major painful issue for me which was barely manageable by taking all apart dealing with one piece at a time and leaving the heaviest part outside pushed onto the porch just out of the rain.
