Advecta Ultra for dogs is a monthly topical treatment and prevention of ticks, fleas, mosquitoes, biting flies & lice. Advecta Ultra contains the same active ingredients used in Bayer K9 advantix II for dogs. Advecta Ultra provides broad protection against fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, biting flies, and chewing lice. It breaks the flea life cycle, killing all life stages of fleas, including adults, eggs, and larvae. Advecta Ultra is a convenient monthly topical for dogs that kills through contact. This means that fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes don’t have to bite your dog to die.

SIDE EFFECTS: Monitor your dog after application. Dogs may experience some temporary irritation at the site of product application such as redness, scratching or other signs of discomfort. If signs of sensitivity occur, bathe your dog with a mild soap and rinse with large amounts of water. If these or other side effects occur, consult your veterinarian or call 1-800-781-4738. If your dog has an unusual reaction to the initial application, consult a veterinarian before repeating application. The most common signs of incidental ingestion are excessive salivation and foaming at the mouth. If these symptoms occur, immediately feed your dog and continue to monitor your dog for the next 24 hours.

How to Open: 1. Tear along perforation. 2. Fold back the safety tab. 3. Cut with scissors to open applicator. How to Apply: 1. Prepare applicator as shown in "How to Open." 2. 5-10lbs and 11-20lbs: Apply the entire contents of the applicator to one spot. Part the hair on the dog back between the shoulder blades until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the applicator on the skin and gently squeeze to apply all the contents to the skin. Carefully avoid allowing the product to run off the side of the dog. Keep solution out of your dog?s eyes and do not allow your dog to ingest this product. 21-55lbs and Over 55lbs: Apply the entire contents of the applicator evenly to three or four spots on the top of the back of the dog from the shoulder to the base of the tail. At each application site, part the hair of the dog until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the applicator on the skin and gently squeeze to apply all the contents to the skin. Do not apply an amount of solution at any one spot that could cause some of the solution to run off the side of the dog. Keep solution out of your dog?s eyes and do not allow your dog to ingest this product. 3. Discard empty applicator and packaging as described in the Storage and Disposal section. 4. Under normal conditions the product remains effective for a month. In cases of severe flea infestation, re-treatment may be necessary earlier than one month. Do not reapply Advecta 3 more often than once every seven (7) days. Once flea control is attained, return to a monthly application schedule.

I love that it's not hard to apply it on my dogs. I have 2 nice sized dogs. It started killing fleas within no time. They don't do a lot of scratching sine I've applied it on them. Just make sure you get the correct weight. And make sure you put the sticker on a calendar so you want forget. Bc it keeps it accurate. It has truly been a blessing for me and them.

Frontline iterations had become ineffective over the years. During the heat of the southern summer we use Bravecto but this works great in the off seasons and is very economical!
