Love my threading dies

love my RIDGID pipe chasers, thread cutting teeth or dies, very durable, clean threads, dies last a long time (if you do not push too hard and use good quality cutting oil)

Rubbish

Rigid quality has gone. 2nd 1" thread I did die securing lugs sheared off! Add the fact that the ratchet on the handle slips, really poor product.

Need clearer naming structure

trying to find the Hss dies and when i order part it says nothing to me of Hss on product

The name of the dies is on the end of the dies opposite of the teeth. It is there so when the dies are in the die head you can see what dies are in the head. For example 1/2" tapered thread high speed dies would be stamped "1/2" NPT HS". If you have any questions please call customer support at 844- 789-8665.
