With the MMD4E Pin-Type Moisture Meter, use the pin sensors to pinpoint exact moisture content in your wood, surface of carpets, sub-flooring, ceilings and walls. Measure the surface moisture content of wood and building materials before painting, wallpapering, sealing or treating. This will help you know if you need to dry the existing materials or replace with brand new ones. Great unit at a great price
I burn a lot of firewood and this will definitely help. It took a little force to get the probes into the hedge but it worked. Everything else was easy, even the oak. The price was great and it came with a spare set of probes. Battery was included so I was able to test it out right away. I was set on a non contact, pinless type unit but when I saw the price on this, and a manufacturer I knew, I thought I'd give it a shot. I'm glad I did.
