We had to replace a couple year old hotpoint washer with this one. Let me just say- I now realize that the hot point was NOT cleaning my clothes well… which is what I suspected but couldn't prove until we washed just one load in this baby. Woooweeee Batman! This thing cleans! I love that it spins the drum as it fills up to equally soak all the clothes. Then it cleans so well and seems to use the right amount of water (which our other one barely used any and hence why the clothes never felt truly clean), and gets the job done. My only cons are : I don't believe I can soak clothes like in the older style washers. The many electrical components make me question its longevity as well.
