Great fit!
These jeans just came in today and I love them already! They're a little stiff to start (to be expected because these are similar to a Wrangler Q-Baby), but after wearing them for a little bit they're pretty much perfect. The rise is high enough that they don't fall down, but not so high as to pinch when you bend down. The waist band is super comfortable! I wear a 31 in Levi's 714 and a Kimes 12 worked just fine. If you want more stretch, get the Betty 17.
great fit, love the simple pockets
I found these jeans to run true-to-size, I typically wear a size 26 in non-horsey jeans and the size 2 fits perfectly. These jeans don't bag out like a lot of jeans do, and they are very comfortable and stylish. I have these and the Jolenes, these are my favorite due to the higher rise and tighter calf. I love the leg on these jeans, there's less flare than other styles so it gives a nice straight fit over your boot tops. The denim material is a little thicker and doesn't have much stretch, compared to the Jolenes. Definitely worth trying.
Favorite riding jeans
I always have trouble with my jeans going up while riding and these stay put! I use shorter lace boots so it was definitely a problem when the boot top was exposed and got caught on the fender. The heavier material and length keeps them down on the boots. They are comfortable as well, I bought my normal size, 6, but ordered 2 inches longer than I usually get. I thought they would drag but the Betty has a narrower leg and they don't drag when I have boots on.
