Great product!! Overpriced but undeniable results
Killer Hogs BBQ Rub is one of the best I've ever tried, and I have tried several ones. For baby back ribs and shoulder/butt for pulled pork, I recommend letting it marinate for a day or two by slathering the meat with mustard (to give the rub some adhesion to the meat), then putting a generous coating of the rub on to the mustard. TWO DOWNSIDES TO THIS PRODUCT: 1. It is PRICEY - and I mean PRICEY - compared to similar products. Is it worth it - probably not - however each time I've used this product the resulting flavor of finished product is always the best. 2. When I place the rub coated meat in the refrigerator to marinate, the rub gives off a very strong odor which WILL cause many items in the fridge to absorb and/or take on the rub's powerful odor/fumes - including ICE from automatic ice makers.
