The Kidde Smoke Detectors' compact, 4-inch design, which is smaller than the average 5-inch smoke detector, provides smoke detection in small spaces, such as a mobile home, RV, or crawlspace. When smoke or fire is detected, an 85-decibel alarm will sound and a red LED light will illuminate. The Kidde Photoelectric Smoke Detector is powered by 2-AA alkaline batteries per alarm (included), providing peace-of-mind smoke detection coverage during a power failure.
