The fire truck is beautiful. It is sturdy and well-made. It was a bit complex to put together, but with a couple socket wrenches, a phillip's head screwdriver, and a rubber mallet, we got the job done. The steering is a bit stiff, but manageable. The pedals move in a circular fashion, much like a bicycle, as compared with the old style that went back and forth. The ladders are nicely made, but are in the way of getting into the truck. We remove them when our grandson wants to ride. Every detail is carefully designed, including the fire fighter's hat on the bell. Our grandson had so much fun riding his sensational fire truck.
