Instructions
Hob - From Ambient - Rangetop Directions. Each bag makes about 3 cups. ❶ Pour about 4 cups (1 quart) of water into medium saucepan and submerge 1 bag of rice (use about 3 quarts of water in large saucepan for 2 bags). Bring water to a boil and boil uncovered 8-10 minutes. ❷ Remove bag from water with fork and drain. Cut open bag and empty rice into serving dish. Fluff with fork and add salt and butter if desired. Microwave - From Ambient - Each bag makes about 3 cups. ❶ In a 2-quart microwave-safe bowl, submerge 1 bag of rice in about 4 cups (1 quart) of water. (We do not recommend using the microwave to cook multiple bags). ❷ Microwave on High 10 minutes. ❸ Remove bag from water with fork and drain. Cut open bag and empty rice into serving dish. Fluff with fork and add salt and butter if desired. Microwave ovens vary. Cooking times are approximate. Cooked Success® Rice can sit in hot water with the heat off for up to 30 minutes.

O.k., so this rice has been around since the 60's, so, what 60-some odd years ? If it wasn't any good, I'd imagine it would be obsolete by now. With that being said, I don't eat it myself because I don't like rice, but I will use it to make dog food.

Especially for summer I'm all about quick n easy and this it . I've been buying this Success Rice boil in the bag for years and it's always perfect on the stove or in the the microwave. I noticed it's a larger count it used to be three bags now it's more bags so that's a plus as well . I see now they have it in Brown rice too. It's not as sticky as the white and we like it too it has a good flavor and really is better for you .
