I used to hang kitchen towels on front of cabinet doors, but the floor would get wet, so I went looking for a counter towel holder and this was perfect. It's bigger than what you usually see for the bathroom, so towels don't drag along bottom. Base is very sturdy.

This is the towel stand I have been looking for. It's tall enough to actually hold a hand towel, not just fingertip towels. Every other one I have purchased has been too short so the towel hangs on the countertop. I was so happy when this arrived and it was exactly how it was advertised. It's the perfect height for a standard hand towel. It also looks great. I was so pleasantly surprised by the quality of the product when it arrived. The base is heavy marble and the stand is a sturdy metal. It was packaged well as to avoid any damage. I ordered a few and all arrived in perfect condition. These look great in our bathrooms. They are excellent quality and look much higher end than the price suggests.
