The K&H Pet Products Perfect Climate Pond Deicer line has reinvented the wheel when it comes to keeping ice-free water available in winter ponds. Safe in all ponds and can be used as a floating de-icer out of the box or in seconds converts to a submersible deicer! In the past, all that was readily available were energy gulping 1000 watt to 1500 watt deicers. We’ve created a whole line of deicers along with a convenient zone chart for consumers to choose the correct deicer, every time! K&H Pet products are tested & certified by MET Labs and exceeds USA/CA electrical safety standards. K&H doesn't just use safety listed parts; we safety certify the entire product. Designed by K&H with OVER 20 years of experience in creating safe, innovative, quality products for pets. Includes a two-year limited manufacturer’s warranty. IMPORTANT! Heating element must be submerged in water at all times when in use.

My new KH Perfect Climate Deluxe Pond De-icer worked great over the past few days. I live in NW North Carolina and we had a recent cold spell - down to 18 degrees. No ice in the pond. it was rated in our zone for up to 300 gallons. PS: the birds arre using it as a perch to drink from the pond!

Horse trough
We use the 250 watt pond deicer in our horse trough. It keeps enough melted for the horses to drink, we are in Zone 7. This deicer requires little power and comes with a 12 foot cord, its eliminated the need for extension cords. Its worked well for our needs.
